The Finance & Payroll Manager that will come on board will have a very important role within the finance department with lots of responsibility.


Description


This Finance & Payroll Manager position will involve taking ownership of:


Sales Ledger:


Email sales invoices to customers


Post on Sage


Reconcile with Jobshop


Send monthly customer statements


Monthly self-bill


Allocate customer payments


Credit control – chase debtors


Resolve customer queries


Raise credit notes


Banking:


Monthly pay run


Adhoc payments including p/f and bank payments


Foreign payments


Allocate payments on Sage


Bank reconciliation


Payroll:


Check timesheets


Process wages


Leavers/starters adj and increases


Payslips


Sending payroll


PAYE


Pensions


All HMRC online


Update monthly labour analysis


Profile


The successful Accounts & Payroll Manager


  • Will be immediately available

  • Will be experienced with payroll

  • Should Have experience of both the purchase & sales ledger

  • Needs to understand the importance of this role and be a diligent professional

  • Must be comfortable with Sage

  • Should have at least intermediate excel

  • Needs to be willing to work hard and prove themselves in a temporary position and gain a permanent role
