Job Description:
CARE ASSISTANTS required for residential care home in Chalfont St Peter to work as part of a friendly enthusiastic team on a rota basis to include some weekends.
We are looking for CARE ASSISTANTS to work in a Residential Care Home in the Chalfont St Peter. The home provides high quality care and excellent working conditions and are set in pleasant surroundings.
CARE ASSISTANTS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:•Reliable and trustworthy, happy to work various shifts
•Able to carry out basic care as required with attention to the dignity and respect of the person
•Able to complete documentation and care notes accurately
•Able to communicate effectively with older people
•An understanding of the care needs of older people including nutrition
Hours: 7.15 am – 2.15 pm and 2.15 pm – 9.15 pm.

We are looking for care staff who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.
You will be providing personal care to residents, as well as supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
