Senior IT Applications Support Analyst (High Wycombe)


For over twenty years InHealth have been working in close partnership with NHS trusts across the UK providing specialist diagnostic solutions.


Due to expansion we are looking for an Senior IT Application Support Analyst to provide 2nd Line Support and System Administration to our new XRM System. The role is based from our Head Office in High Wycombe Bucks


Responsibilities:


  • To be a subject matter expert in order to support, maintain and configure applications that sustain business activities.

  • To be a point of contact and liaison with users and application vendors in order to provide support, advice and training, so as to ensure efficient and best practice use of the supported applications.

  • Test releases, updates and enhancements to the supported applications, co-ordinate user acceptance sign-off and communicate changes to relevant users.

  • To facilitate the gathering of user information, the performing of system configurations and oversee change and problem management, i.e. provide 2nd line support, user acceptance testing and system admin functions.

  • Become and act as a subject matter expert by developing and maintaining a good understanding of the processes and system requirements of the business units using the supported applications.

  • Work closely with the Service Delivery staff to provide expertise in resolving application based issues and liaise with third line party vendors where escalation is necessary.

  • Provide training through documentation and workshops to users. On-site training may be required where necessary.

  • Assist with the development of documentation for all aspects of the application from testing to support.

  • Undertake system configuration, including workflow and data modelling.

Main Skills:


  • Systems Administration experience

  • Software User Acceptance Testing experience

  • 2nd Line Support ideally on a CRM or a XRm

Desirable Skills:


  • Able to support SQL or any other database

  • Experience of supporting

  • An understanding of clinical applications such as RIS and PACS
