A UK training provider delivering a range of tier-1 training services require a Plastering Tutor.


The Company


You will be joining a specialist training group with a reputation for delivering the highest level of training to organisations including multinational businesses, schools and the justice sector. This opportunity is within their Justice & Education Division.


Your Role


Working as part of the Justice & Education Training Team, you will teach to groups of low-risk offenders nearing the end of short prison sentences. You will assist them to gain qualifications that will maximise their chances of obtaining employment upon release in order to prevent re-offending.


Teaching Sessions


Typical learner groups range from six to a maximum of fifteen. Training is delivered primarily on a practical basis in new workshops, sometimes in cooperation with one of your colleagues who will be focusing on a different skill.


What the employer is looking for


To interview for this position you must be a trades professional with good plastering experience and a reasonable working knowledge of other skills such as plumbing, brick-laying, electrics etc (you do not need to be qualified in these areas, however).


Additional to plastering skills, you will ideally have on site instruction or training experience and you must hold a PTLLS teaching qualification as a minimum requirement.
