Store Supervisor (Footwear) – Watford

UK’s leading Foot care / Footwear brand is currently seeking a Store Supervisor to join their business and play a lead role in the ongoing success of their store in Watford, Established in 2006 with 80 sites nationwide offering a unique service and products that make them standout from the rest. Seeking a skilled and experienced Manager who can be a strong decision maker whilst have the ability to ensure the customer service received from the store is second to none.
Roles and Responsibilities
- As a Store Supervisor, you are responsible for the day to day operation of the store and supporting all aspects in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Ensuring consistent levels of quality in all areas of service, whilst supporting the Store manager in the management and motivation of the team
- As a Store Supervisor you will be responsible for driving sales and key KPI’s through strong leadership
- Taking control, ownership and accountability of Store Operations and Team performance in the absence of the Store Manager, including responsibility for opening and closing the store as required.
- Being the liaison between staff and management to ensure relationship building in a diplomatic manner
- Preparing bank deposits as required and being responsible for store security.
- Determining customers’ needs through professional means and clear communication
- Assisting the Store Manager in organising special promotions, displays and events, ensuring visual merchandising and housekeeping standards at all times
To be suitable for the role you must have the below:
You will have previous experience as a store Supervisor within a retail environment
Excellent communication and ‘people’ skills, with a strong commitment to customer service
Great work ethos and enthusiasm
