Account Manager, Small Business, Google Fiber - Google - Mountain View, CA

With the Google Access team, you’ll work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with cross-functional team members to refine and evolve our projects, as well as deploy new technologies to markets and communities around the globe. You like being on-the-ground, executing complex projects that bring internet access to people.

As a Channel Account Manager, you will join our Small- and Medium-sized Business (SMB) team in the early stages of strategy development and growth. You will manage business partnerships with promising channel partners, starting with IT partners. You will work closely with them on partner operations as their business partner/consultant while having a common goal of growing our Fiber subscriber base, and develop strong, successful, long-term partnerships with them. You will work in a continuous improvement environment where you can proactively identify process and business improvement opportunities, and test and implement them. Your primary focus will be on managing partner operations for Tech Partners in various Google Fiber cities. You will collaborate closely with regional colleagues, sales teams and sales operations.

Responsibilities


Responsible for Tech Partner Lead evaluation for existing and new Fiber cities, and perform initial outreach to grow Partner base.


Manage the outgoing communications to Partners involving but not limited to program updates or specific information gathering.


Own the Partner onboarding process that includes providing training access, address list processing, and working with Partner to list them on the Google Fiber SMB Help Center page.


Help schedule Partner meetings on a regular basis, and be the point of contact for all signed Partners.


Work closely with Partner Managers on Partner quarterly business reviews and marketing-related activities.


Minimum Qualifications


BS degree in Business, Engineering or other relevant field or equivalent practical experience.


1 year of Account Management experience in a technology company.


Project Management experience managing multiple Partner Operations on an ongoing basis.


Preferred Qualifications


Experience working on SFDC.


Experience with SQL and spreadsheet software.


Experience working in a Channel Sales team in a client facing role.


Have an operational mindset to help scale the Tech Partner Program across all Fiber cities.


Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Regional and Analytics team to obtain key results.
