Assemble resident food trays by placing silverware, napkins, condiments, salad, and food items specified on the production sheet on the tray.
Ensure the accuracy of tray setup and that all sanitary precautions are followed.
Take food carts to proper units/floors in a timely manner, and assist nurse aides in passing trays to residents.
Make-up nourishments, and beverages for hydration, and distribute them to the appropriate units.
Pick up resident trays after meals, place them in carts, and return them to the kitchen.
Ensure that equipment, ovens, steam tables, and other equipment is properly cleaned and shut down.
To be successful in this position requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
- Basic computer skills.
