Job Duties & Responsibilities
If you enjoy interacting with people, providing outstanding customer service, meeting a challenge and are looking for a rewarding career in collections, Farmers home Furniture may have a place for you on our team!
Helps process credit applications in store or over the phone, take payments on accounts, and type sales contracts. Conducts daily collection calls to customers with payments due or to customers with past due accounts via telephone and home visits as needed. Six months to one year of practical payment collection/clerical experience, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers competitive pay. Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Basic reading, numerical reasoning, and comprehension skills
Great listening ability
Good telephone etiquette
Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner
Good organizational skills
Ability to work variable hour schedule
High School Diploma or equivalent
