The Southeastern PA Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is recruiting for upcoming and future vacancies for the position of Part-Time Note Processor in our Revenue Operations Department, located at our 2nd Street and Wyoming Avenue facility. Note Processors are responsible for sorting, straightening and counting dollar bills received from coin boxes on SEPTA buses and trolleys. Note Processors must be able to face and straighten a minimum of 20 bills per minute (1,200 per hour). Successful candidates must be able to distinguish different currency denominations, remaining in a stationary, sedentary position for extended periods of time. The work hours are day time, from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. This is a part time position, with no benefits, working approximately 30 to 35 hours per week. The pay rate is $9.58 per hour. Employees will receive a SEPTA employee pass, good for use on all SEPTA vehicles. In order to be considered, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening test.
