Representative - Chief Mainland Customer Service Representative - Hawaiian Airlines - Oakland, CA

1. Primary functions are to train, lead and direct lower classified employees and performs lower classification work.

2. Handles station transactions and ticketing.


3. Plans, coordinates and assumes responsibility of daily functions.


4. Prepares and coordinates work assignments.


5. Services clients in a manner that would encourage repeat business.

1. Must display good personal and working habits and have the ability to work with the public and all levels of employees.


2. Must have thorough knowledge of and skillful ability to operate “CRT”.


3. Must have faring and ticketing knowledge.


4. Must have the ability to train, assign and direct the work of all lower classified employees in the unit to provide quality service.


5. Must display mature judgment in the course of directing the work to be completed.


6. Must be proficient in computer reservations and ACI procedures.


7. Must be proficient in auxiliary service, on-line and interline ticketing.


8. Must have thorough knowledge of geography of the Hawaiian Islands and HA routes, along with knowledge of world geography.


9. Must be able to communicate effectively.


10. Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.


11. Must have the ability and thorough knowledge of ticketing, accounting procedures, passenger check-in, regulations pertaining to Customs/Immigration/Public Health and Agriculture.


12. Must be familiar with procedures contained in the Hawaiian Air Ground Service and Passenger Service Manuals.


13. Must be able to obtain proper restricted area clearances (AOA, Customs).


14. Must have baggage service knowledge.


15. Must be skillful and effective in oral and written communications and must be proficient in business processing with applicable PC skills in related software (Access, Word, Project, Excel, etc.).


  • DOT regulations, 14 CFR part 121 identifies this position as performing safety-sensitive functions. You will be required to undergo DOT pre-employment drug testing to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates, PCP (Phencyclidine) and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into this position.

**HAZMAT MATERIAL TRAINING PREREQUISTE- Per 14 CFR 121.1005(b) requires each crewmember and person performing or directly supervising any job functions involving any item for transport on board an aircraft to receive HAZMAT Training respective to their job function prior to reporting to that department.
