Youth Specialist
Banyan Global, an international development consulting firm based in Washington, DC, is recruiting a Spanish speaking youth specialist who will be responsible for:
- Managing and supervising global at-risk youth-related projects
- Carrying out youth related technical assignments, including projects dealing with at-risk youth
- Supervising and overseeing establishment of field offices
- Selecting and providing technical direction to youth consultants implementing assignments for Banyan Global
- Managing home office youth project staff
- Assisting in technical aspects of Banyan Global’s YouthPower IDIQ
- Assisting in coordinating and communicating with YouthPower partners
- Drafting youth project reports for USAID
- Providing technical contributions to new business development efforts, as required
The qualifications for the Youth Specialist include:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of youth and at-risk youth programming
- Fluent Spanish and English writing and speaking is required
- Experience managing USAID-funded projects
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts and agreements with multiple partners
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent writing and oral presentation skills
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area
