The Company


InHealth Group is an independent sector company delivering expert diagnostic and healthcare solutions for NHS and Private Patients throughout the UK and Ireland. We are currently seeking a motivated and curious individual to join a small team responsible for managing our bid responses. Over 90% of our activity is delivered on behalf of the NHS which means that most of our business is secured through formal competitive tender.


We currently envisage that this role will be on a 9-12 month fixed term contract at our Head Office in High Wycombe but we are a growing business faced with lots of opportunities and there is scope for the right individual to secure a full time position.

The Role


As Associate Bid Manager you will assist the Bid Manager and a team of Key Relationship Managers and business leaders in winning targeted contracts through effective tender responses. You will be working as part of a small team within the business and you will be responsible for sourcing and driving bids responses; relationship building with internal colleagues, effective time management and customer care skills are important aspects of this role as is an eye for detail and a desire to be part of a successful team.


Main responsibilities:


  • Source tender opportunities via portal notifications and alternative routes

  • Drive response deadlines

  • Relationship development with internal and external clients

  • Research and provide client overviews

  • Assist marketing with the creation/updating of case studies

  • Assist and support progressive stages of the procurement process

  • Contribute to the bid process by sourcing, initiating and coordinating first line responses

  • Tracking and recording all bid activity

  • Support the development of tender responses through the procurement process

  • Review and critique bid contributions

The Person


The ideal candidate will need to be a sales orientated, deadline driven individual with a strong focus on detail and accuracy; someone who is able to communicate with all levels of the business and is comfortable discussing all aspects of the business, solutions and services. You will promote bid participation through enthusiasm and desire to succeed.


This role is very target driven and works to tight deadlines that are met every time. The role affords you the opportunity to understand how services and solutions are delivered to clients and how an effective bid response can persuade clients of the benefits of those services and solutions. You will interact with a range of qualified professional colleagues including clinicians, lawyers, accountants and business leaders, making this an exciting opportunity to participate in organisational development and growth.
