There is now a vacancy for a CAD Technician to join a market-leading commercial building services company in Watford, Hertfordshire. As CAD Technician you will be offered a salary in the region of c£35,000 + pension + benefits. You will need building services experience for this post.
Role and Responsibilities:
- You will be joining an established and expanding CAD services team, where your responsibility will be to assist with 3D modelling and related duties
- Role reports and provides support to the CAD Manager, delivering drawings using Computer Aided Design, AutoCAD- (Mep) – Revit
- Production of schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings within the Building Services environment and in accordance with company Standards and procedures
- Maintaining and updating drawings from concept Design to As Built stages in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Producing 3D Co-Ordinated drawings accurately and efficiently from survey / redline and Design Information
Person Requirements:
- Able to produce accurate drawings from design info and survey material
- Ability to meet Project deadlines and to work efficiently as part of a team and on your own
- Demonstrate an understanding of technical standards and regulatory requirements for data management
- Understanding of common data environment and Electronic Data Management Systems (Document Control)
- Experience of 2D draughting across building services projects
- AutoCAD proficient
