To cope with increased demand within our European Marketing division, we are looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join our team based in Watford. Peerless-AV provides products to the Audio Visual Industry on a B2B basis, so the position may require some travel including attendance at trade shows and customer visits.
The ideal candidate will be someone looking for their first marketing position; they will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive within their daily tasks, have the ability to prioritise when there are conflicting demands and possess a keen eye for detail.
Key Tasks
- Create, manage and deliver a wide range of marketing support in conjunction with an overall marketing strategy
- Originate advertising ideas and turn these into finished designs.
- Manage website content and e-mail marketing campaigns
- Generate catalogue artwork, image retouching and manipulation
- Produce and update sales support literature
- Maintain and organise marketing resources
Skills Required
- A flexible/adaptable attitude towards supporting an expanding business
- The ability to work alone and as part of multi-national cross-functional team
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- The ability to undertake research of the market and assess the commercial viability of potential projects
- The capability to deliver a wide range of on-line design projects, with a working knowledge and active interest in all aspects of Social Media
- Excellent IT skills
- Proven ability with a wide range of design software – in particular In-Design, Photoshop & Illustrator
- French and/or German language skills would be an advantage but not essential
Desired Experience
Experience working/studying in a marketing environment is desirable, but not essential, as attitude and a willingness to learn are vital for this position
Qualifications
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a Graphic Design or Digital Media subject
Full UK driving licence
