£45,000 – £50,000 + benefits
Our client, an expansive and forward thinking commercial enterprise, based in Watford Hertfordshire is looking for a newly qualified accountant looking to play a pivotal role in a dynamic international environment.
The successful candidate will be academically strong, qualified ACA/ ACCA /CIMA, and educated to degree standard (qualification ideally obtained from a Red Brick University).
The position is essentially all about the execution of strong financial management and is likely to focus on the following areas across a number of European countries:
- forecasting, reporting and providing analytics to support operational teams.
- explaining variances prior to forecast.
- tracking the daily sales targets to ensure targets are achieved.
- leading the financial reporting for assigned entities.
- assessment of stock levels and associated variances.
- devising and executing strategies to improve regional performance.
- assisting with strategic growth plans across a 3 and 5 year period.
An ability to challenge the status quo and drive change is required in respect of the way in which data is collected and reported, as will be the need to communicate and build strong relationships across an international business. Intellect and attention to detail are pre-requisites for application as is the desire to work for a forward thinking commercial entity.
