Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with a large team of staff, including those who do not directly report to you, across a large geographic area on distinct projects related to improving clinical care.
Oversee project management of several clinical and service excellence related projects simultaneously for a large not-for-profit organization serving a large geographic area.
Create a positive, strengths-oriented work culture within and across teams working on clinical and service excellence project.
Identify barriers related to project success early on in projects, brainstorming solutions with project personnel, and championing solutions with leadership and key stakeholders.
Use analytics tools to identify high performing staff and teams & communicating best practices from those staff and teams across the organization.
Work with the Director of the Center for Clinical Excellence and Centerstone leadership to empower staff, managers, and teams to:
Improve outcomes
Create a solution-focused environment within their teams
Engage in continuous quality improvement activities
Work with the Director of National Policy to communicate with elected representatives about key legislative issues and build policy support and advocacy among Centerstone staff, volunteers, and consumers.
Skills:
Skilled in TeamworkPM, Microsoft Project, Basecamp, or another project management software.
Very skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio.
Familiar with project management software & continuous quality improvement techniques.
Facilitation of small and large meetings and events, both in person and electronically.
Skilled in execution of interactive trainings.
Experience planning of small and large events related to healthcare improvement
Excellent writing, editing, research, and keyboarding skills with rapid turn-around.
Experience with graphic design and statistical software.
Requirements:
Job Qualifications :
Bachelors with PMP certification or Masters of Social Work, Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Administration, or Business Administration
Desired Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience in direct social work with persons with mental illness and/or addiction; or
At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement, health IT project management, or implementation research;
At least 1 years’ experience in creating project charters, project plans, and providing remote project management coaching.
CAPM, Lean Sigma Greenbelt, or other project management certification or progress towards certification.
