We are currently recruiting for a Storeroom Clerk for our Georgetown sawmill based in Georgetown, SC. A Storeroom Clerk is responsible for planning and organizing maintenance jobs and planning work orders and PM task in MP2 along with closing work orders out and that parts have been charged correctly.


What You’ll Do


  • Responsible for efficient operation of the storeroom

  • Respond to operational needs as needed. Maintain excellent relations with operational employees.

  • Responsible for entering requisitions into the system for quoting and approval

  • Receives, counts and inspects all parts and materials received, forwards receiving documents to accounts payable.

  • Responsible for verifying all goods delivered match the purchase order.

  • Responsible for investigating any open purchase order issues or invoicing issues.

  • Notifies proper department upon receipt of requisitioned materials.

  • Makes daily visual inspections of inventory items such as belts, bolts, chain, bearings, etc. and submits requisitions for re-stocking.

  • Monthly physical inventories.

  • Distributes parts and supplies from storeroom to employees and updates inventory list.

  • Prepares documentation on parts sent for repair and issues repair purchase order.

  • Responsible for Storeroom housekeeping.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations.

  • Perform anything deemed necessary by supervisor.

Ability to work in Microsoft office, MP2 and basic computer skills


Required Experience

GED or High School Diploma Required


Technical School Preferred
