United States of America: Compensation Analyst


Under the direction of the Global Compensation Manager, the Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing support in developing, analyzing, implementing and monitoring the global compensation programs of the organization. The Compensation Analyst will support effective communication of programs and will assist to ensure all programs support company goals and are competitive within the marketplace.


Compensation Program Management Support


  • Provide support in the analysis, development, design, communication and implementation of global compensation programs including developing/maintaining salary structures, administering the annual salary review process, market pricing, and performing job evaluations. Participate in total rewards and compensation surveys. Evaluate and analyze survey data.

  • Determine and evaluate global competitive compensation for individual jobs and job families by analyzing internal employee data and qualified external market data to ensure market competitiveness and equity.

  • Independently oversee or assist in managing projects or processes, such as survey participation and analysis, salary structure maintenance and the annual salary review process.

  • Evaluate jobs and ensure proper classification for regulatory statutes globally and within US to include FLSA and EEO requirements.

  • Conduct cyclical pay reviews globally including salary movement, comp-ratio and other metrics for analyses as needed.

  • Partner with HRIS team to ensure that the HRIS system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to employee data.

Compensation Consulting Support


  • Coordinate with and provide support to HR Partners and managers in preparing job descriptions, evaluating jobs, or in reviewing salaries for internal employees and external candidates.

  • Provide support and training to HR colleagues and managers concerning interpretation of compensation practices, policies and guidelines.

  • Establish credibility throughout the organization with all levels of employees in order to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues.

General


  • Partner interdepartmentally to help support and achieve organizational goals.


  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the success of MSH.Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional experience in compensation, 5 years preferred.



  • Working knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulatory environment, as well as fundamental knowledge of general HR discipline.

  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications (MS Excel) including formulas, pivot tables, charts and lookups.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to take technical information and communicate/educate programs to employees at all levels.

  • Systems experience including, ad hoc reporting, data management, and administration.
