Job Title: Lab Administrator
Hourly Pay rate or pay rate range: $17.00 / hour
Days /Shift times: Monday – Friday, 40 hours, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, OT and possible Saturdays
Will this role convert to full time: After 1 Year
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Perform the work with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all involved.
Understand and comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while on company or customer property. Report any accident, incident and near miss.
Understand and comply with the established Quality System and report any deficiencies and stop any plant operation if is it compromising the quality process.
Process completed customer work orders by creating the necessary certificates of analysis or conformance, labels, and any additional required paperwork.
Maintain the related paperwork must be maintained in either hard copy and/or computer files for future reference.
Input data into the laboratory files for use by the Laboratory Manager for statistical reports.
Give all completed customer work orders and associated paperwork, in a timely manner, to the Shipping/Receiving Department and Production Scheduler
Maintain the Cylinders Shipments files and report weekly and monthly containers shipped quantities
Maintain an inventory of necessary supplies for producing certificates of analysis or conformance, labels and any other associated paperwork
Research laboratory files when requested for retrieval of information
Maintain general work area as per 5S methodology.
General Requirements
Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise
Be proficient in the English language.
Be able to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
Have an advanced understanding of computer operations
Have a basic knowledge of the properties and characteristics of the products being handled.
Other Requirements
Have a full range of motion and be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
