Position Purpose:
The Grants/Contracts Officer (GCO) administers specific components of Pact’s prime awards and subawards as determined by a Senior Manager of Agreement Management department. Tasks may include any part of the grants and contracts lifecycle, from proposal support to close-out. The GCO also provides general cross-departmental support to the Department, working closely with other GCO colleagues.
The GCO reports will report to the Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific Duties: •Support GC and business development staff in the initial review of proposal budgets for prime awards and/or grants, including cost realism, regulatory compliance, indirect cost rate recovery, invoicing implications, and business risks.
•Upon award of new projects, assign project numbers and assist in drafting new award notices.
•Assist in the collection and maintenance of documentation for prime and subaward files.
•Assist in close-outs, including assist with final disposition of property and subaward close out.
•Review documentation of assigned subawards and procurement; verify completeness and obligated funding sufficiency.
•Assist with the maintenance and control of department templates.
•Prepare analysis as requested.
•Work with other departments such as global finance, accounting and project delivery to support action resolution as issues arise.
•Be GC department resource for various site registrations, password maintenance.
•Other tasks as assigned
Basic Requirements:
At least 6 years of relevant experience working in a USAID funded environment
Ability to travel internationally
BA/BS or significant work/life experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of regulations applicable to award management/compliance, including CFR, FAR, ADS, etc.
• Experience in administering federal grants and contracts
• Fluent English and proficiency in another language
