Recruitment Operations Lead and Program Manager - IBM - United States





The US Recruitment Operations team is responsible for providing overall guidance, support, and compliance to all processes and programs associated with hiring new employees into IBM. As the Recruitment Operations Lead and Program Manager, you will report to the US Recruitment Operations Manager and support Recruitment Delivery for US-based hires.


Day-to-day activities may include the following:


  • Support Recruitment Delivery organization, providing daily direction and counsel on hiring activities

  • Provide advice and counsel to Recruitment Partners, Hiring Managers, HR Partners, and Hiring Focal Points as needed on all aspects of hiring at IBM

  • Act as Program Manager/ Subject Matter Expert on various programs interfacing with Recruitment

  • Ensure compliance with established program guidelines

Ongoing responsibilities include:


  • Identify and develop process improvements for delivery efficiency and transformation

  • Partner with Recruitment Delivery to help maintain a positive compliance posture

  • Identify areas of focus for re-education and training for Recruitment Partners and Associate

To be successful in this role, you’ll need knowledge of IBM recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes. You will also be able to assist with and lead efforts in the following areas: training of Recruitment staff, candidate management reporting and analysis, defining & assisting in strategy development, participating in client meetings, and leading multiple Recruitment operations projects simultaneously. Knowledge of business controls and Corporate audit is also helpful.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • At least 1 years experience in Recruitment Program and Process

  • At least 1 year experience in developing communications which provide instruction and compliance

  • At least 2 years experience with MS Excel and Powerpoint

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • At least 3 years experience in Recruitment Program and Process Knowledge

  • At least 2 years experience with Immigration and Foreign National hiring

  • At least 2 years experience with IBM Relocation programs
