Duties & Responsibilities
Provide internal pickup, delivery and processing of mail to all VAB locations supporting established mail schedules. Sort mail using computer assisted programs for accurate distribution to employee’s current locations.
Process outgoing mail to U.S. Post Office, including certified mail, and priority mail, in support of sales force mailings and regular USPS mail adhering to schedule to ensure delivery for same day processing.
Deliver mail to BI off-site facilities and distribute it internally as required maintaining established schedules as required on a backup basis.
Operate centralized fax machine/FEDEX and maintain records of incoming and outgoing messages.
Coordinate, accept and distribute incoming deliveries to various campus and city-wide destinations.
Identify suspicious mail and follow established safety procedures required by company to escalate to Environmental Affairs and Safety.
Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, etc.) and Company policy and procedures. When violations are noted/observed they are to be immediately reported to management. Demonstrated high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts in order to maintain BIVI’s excellent reputation in the community.
Assist in the update and maintenance of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
High School education is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Computer literacy with various software programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and postage related programs.
Project management experience
Knowledge of the mail delivery procedures.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co- workers and Managers
