The Bridgestone Bloomington Off the Road Tire Plant located in Bloomington-Normal, IL builds construction and mining tires for worldwide operations. This plant of approximately 500 union hourly, salaried, and contractor teammates has been operational since 1965.
Position Summary:
Entry level manufacturing position that will work 7-twelve hour shifts every two weeks, including every other weekend. Successful candidates need to be prepared to work a night shift. Must be prepared to take a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.
Responsibilities:
Driving a Fork Truck, Cutting Rubber Components, Building Tires, and/or prepping tires to be cooked in curing presses/potheaters.
Qualifications:
Prior Fork Truck and Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required.
