We are seeking a part-time Specimen Collector on Maui to help with the collection and processing of biological specimens from patients in a medical setting.
Collections must be observed to ensure samples have not been compromised. Candidates must be comfortable with observing urine collections and working with potentially bio hazardous material.
Duties include:
— Supervising the collection of specimens
— Completing administrative paperwork
— Properly labeling and getting specimens ready for transport to laboratory in Waikiki
The following qualities are necessary for interested applicants:
–Must be highly attentive to detail, reliable, and respectful about patient confidentiality and HIPPA requirements.
–Experience in the medical field is not necessary, but would be helpful.
–Must be able to pass urine toxicology screen (drug test)
The Specimen Collector will work part-time, 7-10 hours per week.
Schedule–
- Wednesday: 8am-10am and 12pm-1pm
This would be an ideal position for someone looking to make some extra cash on a part time basis.
