Vidant Duplin Hospital is a 81-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The newly renovated, 15-bed ER serves approximately 22,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.


Responsibilities


  • The Patient Access Representative I is responsible for providing quality registration and customer service to all patients, visitor and internal customers.

  • Obtain all demographic, insurance and medical information accurately and thoroughly and complete fields in the registration pathway that impact patient care, billing and reporting.

  • As a Patient Access Representative, you are also responsible for ensuring a positive first impression.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum six months experience with computers.

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.

  • Skilled at typing and data entry.

Preferred Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
