Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 3-10 at preschools, child care centers and elementary schools. We are expanding and need some new instructors for our upcoming season.
Experience in teaching and/or coaching is very beneficial. This is a part time and seasonal position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule.
Each class is 30 to 45 minutes long. We provide training, equipment, and all curriculum materials. We pay $20 for each session you run. At some locations, there could be multiple classes, meaning you could run 2 classes and double your pay.
The ideal instructor meets the following criteria:
Responsible – arrive on time for each session, handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicate well with Soccer Shots’ director, etc
Professional – neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with center/school staff and parents
Enthusiastic – Must enjoy working with children, be able to connect with children ages 3-10, and make the Soccer Shots’ class the best 30-45 minutes of their week
Soccer – no official soccer experience is required. However, having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful
In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
