Own the process and equipment in the Front End, Tool Room, Washer and Waste Water Treatment areas of the plant.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental standards.
Provide direction, coaching and counseling to production and maintenance Team Members in your areas of responsibility.
Work closely with the management team to maintain a safe and highly efficient manufacturing environment.
Champion maintenance standards and execution in area of responsibility according to the VPO Maintenance Pillar.
Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure compliance with all procedures.
Set and monitor sustained housekeeping and equipment service standards in your area.
Champion the Front End budget, including development and routine management to meet goals.
Lead capital and overhaul projects as necessary.
Support continuous improvement in the area by leading PDCAs and other improvement teams or efforts.
Monitor and improve KPIs and PIs in your area, including water usage, materials usage, and others.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science discipline.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Management experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to provide critical feedback and ensure accountability of employees.
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Ability to manage budget, drive cost savings and champion cost control initiatives.
- Excellent communication, planning, analyzing, influencing and organization skills.
- Ability to set, monitor, and engage employees to reach goals and targets in your area.
