Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Part Time

Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources & Customer Service

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Customer Service

Meridian Teterboro, a New Jersey-based private aircraft service facility, takes pride in providing customers with the best customer service experience. The emphasis is placed on empowering staff to meet and exceed the customer’s needs.


At this current time we are currently looking for a Part-Time Customer Service Representative. This successful candidate must be able to work Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 6am-2pm & Saturday 12 – 8pm and MUST be available to work Holidays.


Summary:
To assist our clients with their service requests in a professional and friendly manner that reflects positively on Meridian Teterboro, Meridian Air Charter and Meridian Jet Center.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned:


Answer phones in a timely manner


Arrange Hotel, Limo and Rental Cars for arriving passengers and crews.


Coordinate fuel orders with Line Service


Keep Line Service up to date on arriving and departing aircraft


Assist with Catering orders


Complete rental car agreements


Assist customers with cabin requirements (dishwashing, laundry and flowers)


Collect for services rendered


Assist with courtesy runs to and from local hotels (valid driver’s license required)


Maintain handouts for customers (applications, directions, maps, restaurant listings, etc.)


Must be resourceful and highly creative in dealing with new situations.


Must be able to work well without supervision


Other Duties:
General facility housekeeping, updating database (adding new customers, etc.), purchase aircraft cabin supplies and collect outstanding invoices.


Education/Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
