Under general supervision, this position performs a wide range of duties in support of office operations. Works as a receptionist, provides internal and external customers with general information as it relates to the operations and functions of the area of assignment. Must be able to key information into a data system accurately. Routinely deals with internal and external stakeholders and provides quality customer service for everyone. Must be able to multi-task and handle a variety of interruptions. Performs related work as required.

Accurately enters a variety of information into databases and/or computerized systems.
Proofread material for accuracy and completeness, recommend corrections.
Operate multi-line phone system, transfer and complete calls, take messages.
Sort and file documents, forms and reports alphabetically, numerically or by other prescribed method.
Follow written and oral instructions.
Performs various routine clerical duties, utilizing standard office equipment.
Responds to requests for information from internal and external customers; answers routine questions; directs customers to appropriate resources.
Processes, receives, sorts, and distributes a variety of correspondence, deliveries, and mail.
Provide credible testimony in judicial proceedings.
Handle payments and issue receipts
Search for information from various sources and document results.
Comply with Oregon records laws
Ability to acquire and maintain LEDS certification after employment.
Maintain confidentiality of information
Complies with safety requirements of the position and actively promotes safe work practices.
In an emergency event or an officially declared State of Emergency, responds as directed to ensure the restoration of essential public services, facilities and infrastructure.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of:

Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and at least one year of customer service and clerical/office work experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Minimum of one year of college or technical training preferred.
