Purpose of the Assignment


UNICEF seeks a consultant to provide writing services towards creating the divisional publication. This will include advising on an overall outline of the report; writing draft chapters based on inputs and limited personal research; maintaining all references and sources; providing a second draft of the report based on internal and external comments; creating a final draft based on final internal comments.

How to apply:


Key competences, technical background, and experience required Deadline


  • Advanced University Degree in Economics, other social sciences or English.

  • 6-8 years of professional experience including extensive experience in writing data-driven and evidence based reports.

  • Proven track record (including samples) of report writing of flagship publications for large development organizations.

  • Previous experience working on poverty and children’s issues an asset, as is experience working with UNICEF branding and style.

  • Background or experience in Economics an asset.

  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Ability to work independently and respond to feedback in a timely and professional manner.

  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to contribute to a team.
