Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine warehouse duties involving the receiving, unloading, inventory, storing, movement, and distribution of goods and materials at assigned site. Receive, inspect and unload goods and materials and place into inventory Process reservations and issue material to end users utilizing the systems as defined by the company Receive and review orders for goods and materials Review inventory records to determine availability Pull requested items and stage for delivery Communicate with customers to notify if any possible delays are expected Update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) as needed to Maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory Initiate restock of items as necessary Update manual or automated inventory listings Operate a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment Deliver material to end users, capture proof of delivery signatures, and maintain a record of delivered items Perform cycle counting Perform other duties as required including housekeeping and safety related tasks Minimum Qualifications One (1) year of related experience in Warehousing, Material Handling/Inventory or Customer Service Basic understanding of warehouse inventory control systems, purchase orders and accounts payable processes and methods Basic computer skills with a minimum proficiency in email Able to operate a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment Good customer service skills Display a professional can-do attitude Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards |
