Chemonics seeks a New Business and Practice Support Resource Group manager for its newly formed Global Health Division. The manager should be familiar with trends in the global health marketplace — both within USAID and in the broader development community. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities include:
- Support new business development, including working on proposal development for health programs
- Contribute to health practice initiatives
- Help advance the development agenda and increase competitiveness of our proposals
- Support project teams to improve project performance
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant partners and industry experts
- Organize corporate participation in and represent Chemonics at industry forums
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Three years of technically relevant work or project management experience required
- One year of supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of USAID and industry trends in health
- Administrative, accounting, and project management systems experience required
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Experience writing proposal or report sections of at least 10 pages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to travel and work abroad a minimum of 4 to 8 weeks per year; experience living or working in developing countries preferred
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Proficiency in a foreign language preferred
